Eugen Gluck, Sam Weisinger, Ruth Summers: Three special people I had the privilege to know
This past summer has not been kind to my erstwhile friends in Forest Hills. Within the space of a few short months, five members of the Young Israel of Forest Hills whom I loved and cherished passed from the world. Three of them survived the Holocaust, and I wanted to share my thoughts about how special each of them was. This morning Eugen Gluck, last week Sam Weisinger, last month Ruth Summers עליהם השלום. Man does not live forever, and nothing can stop the inevitable processes that are the end of us all.
